THK LM4UU to LM25UU linear bushings are compact ball-based linear motion components designed for use with compatible cylindrical shafts. They provide guided straight-line movement with low friction and are used in industrial automation, packaging equipment, measuring instruments, light machinery and maintenance replacement projects.
The available model range covers shaft diameters from 4 mm to 25 mm:
LM4UU, LM5UU, LM6UU, LM8UU, LM10UU, LM12UU, LM13UU, LM16UU, LM20UU and LM25UU.
The suffix UU identifies a configuration with seals on both ends. The seals help reduce the entry of dust and retain lubricant, but the shaft condition, lubrication method, housing fit and working environment must still be checked before selection.

Important Application Limits
An LM-UU linear bushing is not the same product as a profile-rail linear guide block. LM4UU to LM25UU bushings operate with compatible round shafts and should not be selected as replacements for THK HSR, SHS, SSR or other profile-rail LM Guide series.
Before selection, confirm the radial load, shaft diameter, shaft hardness and surface condition, housing fit, alignment, operating speed, stroke length, lubrication method and contamination level. These factors can affect running accuracy, friction and service life.
For dusty, high-speed, high-temperature or precision applications, please provide the complete operating conditions for technical confirmation before ordering.

Model Selection Example
LM12UU identifies a sealed linear bushing for a nominal 12 mm cylindrical shaft. However, shaft diameter alone is not sufficient for replacement selection. The outer diameter, overall length, housing fit, load direction, operating speed and working environment should also be confirmed.
